n54coolant

Recently we have been seeing a lot of BMW 135i, 335i and 535i models with N54 engines visiting the shop for coolant system malfunctions.

Common complaints:

– “Engine Overheat” warning on display, in combination with “Reduced Power” warning

– Electric fans running on full

– Coolant level is at max

Failure range on cars are usually starting as early as 60,000 miles up to 100,000 miles.

Here at German Car Specialists, LLC we assembled a service a BMW N54 Coolant System Service kit we use at our shop. The kit consists of:

-New OEM Coolant pump (water pump)

-New OEM Thermostat

-Water pump bolts (these bolts are one time use and have to be replaced every time they are taken off)

-Fresh Coolant

Service also includes complete inspection of coolant system. We check all coolant hoses, radiator, connections, coolant reservoir to make sure the system is completely sealed and there are no leaks. We use our special diagnostic tool to bleed the coolant pump automatically. All parts come with 2 years 24000 miles warranty.

    Good Morning,

Please provide a quote for the N54 coolant service. My vehicle is at 68K and is a 2007; I assume it is overdue for this service. Thank you.
